Last updated September 21, 2026. This describes how Susan’s Studio handles information for appointment booking and appointment texts. It is not legal advice.

Who we are

Susan’s Studio is a hair salon. Legal name and trade name: Susan’s Studio. We send appointment texts under that name.

What we collect

• Name and mobile phone number
• Appointment time, service, and visit notes
• Color formula (kept on the client record for return visits)
• Whether you opted in to appointment texts, and when
• A confirm-link token for a visit, if we send a confirm text
• A log of appointment texts we attempted to send

We collect a phone number on this website only when you submit the appointment-text form. We do not run a marketing list.

How we use it

To keep the appointment book, to send the texts you opted into (booked, confirm link, reminder), and to show the stylist your formula and visit history. We do not use this information to send promotions, surveys, or advertising.

Text messages

If you opt in on this site, we may send up to 3 appointment texts per visit. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. We do not sell or share SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing.

Service providers (not marketing partners)

We use other companies to operate the salon tools, not to market to you:

• Twilio — delivers the text messages
• Supabase — stores the appointment book and consent record
• Cloudflare — hosts this website
• Square — processes payment if you pay at the salon; that is Square’s service, not this site

They see what they need to provide that service. They are not given your number to market their own products.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your information
• We do not share SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes
• We do not send marketing texts

How long we keep it

Client and visit records stay in the salon book as long as they are part of running the business (history, formula, future visits). Text consent stays until you opt out or we delete the record. Text send logs are kept to show what we sent.

Your choices

Reply STOP to appointment texts to opt out. You can also ask at the salon. Booking does not require text consent; if you do not opt in, we simply do not text you.

Contact

Questions about privacy or texts: ask at your visit, or use the phone number on the appointment texts. This website does not receive email.
